Trying to enjoy Summer

The last month or so has been rather hectic, thus explaining my absence from these parts. A week off here, weekend away there, each time chasing the sun with whatever is left of this season we call “Summer”.

There have been some new coffees in, though the there has been much to do in the roastery, especially in the lead up to the Bank Holiday weekend, so profiling and cupping has had to take a break.

One thing to watch out for, though, is the Costa Rica Coopeatenas’ Libano, Cup of Excellence. Came in last week and i did a cheeky sample roast. Very clean, well balanced cup. Full report when it gets the JGC profile treatment.
